Item Exceptional Cotton Zokin, Dust Cloth
This is one of the finest examples of Japanese zokin we've found. Note extensive cross stitching in a very tight pattern.

Zokins have been used for centuries in Japanese homes, temples, and schools to hand clean dust from wooden floors and tatami mats.

Zokins were made from layered pieces of old fabric held together with sashiko stitching.
