Comments The center symbol is the Buddhist Image called "Nyoitakarashu" (Cintamani in Hindu). Nyoitakarashu are wish-granting jewels, that additionally represent wisdom. Nyoitakarashu symbolize the importance of teaching as well as the enlightened mind. The flames around the border of the Nyoitakarashu are symbolic of the burning away of false desires and ignorance, giving way to enlightenment.

The graphic is called "iwainoshi". The graphic depicts long stirps of traditional Japanese gift paper bound together which symbolizes strength and permanence of marriage.
