Fabric 100% cotton, hand loomed, homespun cotton, medium-heavy weight, thick. Part of an old futon cover.

Note the lovely and extensive background stippling feature.

No Holes. Note...each piece has several small, light brown spots, hardly noticeable. See last photo for example.

Lovely faded shade of blue-indigo. (we have another textile with same design but with dark indigo color - Katazome-2069)

We have washed & ironed this textile. It is ready for use in your project.
Comment For the Japanese, the chrysanthemum symbolizes the autumn season, a period when the flower is in full bloom.
