Item Exceptional Indigo Cotton Boro Textile, Repurposed Kimono

Extensively presence of lovely sashiko stitching, boro patched.
A wonderful variety of faded indigo fabrics, solids and thin stripes.

Fine example of a Japanese folk textile,Singularly spectacular appearance.

This textile was at one time a kimono. Note the suggestion of sleeves on the top right and left of the first photo. Someone repurposed it into another use, perhaps a blanket or ??
