Katazome Indigo Cotton Textile
This textile is filled with symbols of wealth, happiness and good fortune. The round shapes are reminiscent of Japanese traditional temari balls which are symbols that bestow good luck and happiness. Within the balls is the Japanese kanji for "treasure", takara. Also is a Uchide no Kozuchi, otherwise known as a magic money mallet. A small dot pattern surrounds the balls, reminding one of stars.
