Item Small Cotton Indigo Sashiko Boro Furoshiki
Some Sashiko Stitching with interesting boro repairs. Typically these furoshiki textiles were used as covers for high quality furnature or for wrapping imprtant objects. Perhaps this one less so. Difficult to read the kanji but our best guess of several words: store, congratulations....
Early 1900s
3.2 X 3.3 feet, 96 X 102 cm
Medium Weight
Good Overall Boro Condition
Lots of indigo color variegations
Several nicely sewn boro patches as seen in the photos.

It is ready to use in your project or to hang as wall art.
