Fabric Rather tightly woven, very strong, thick, multi-layered indigo dyed Cotton fabric.

Homespun and hand woven. Lovely dark indigo cotton fabric.

No Spots, No Tears.
Button holes but no buttons.

Some fabric fraying, feathering around collar & some other areas.

We have washed & ironed this garment.

It is ready to wear or display as a wonderful example of a Japanese folk craft.
Comment Originally this garment was a Japanese fireman's coat. Someone repurposed it into a jacket by altering the collar, adding button holes and taloring it.
