This jacket is a remnant of a lost cultural thistory. The techique, time and labor it took to fashion this jacket completely unknown today!

From Northern Japan
Fabric 100% Cotton.
Natural vegetable dyes. Home Spun, Hand loomed Indigo
Lots of great sashiko.

We have hand washed & Ironed this garment.
Comments A Japanese farm woman used sashiko stitching to hold together layers of fabric which provided this jacket with added warmth and strength.
